MIS Athletics - Basketball
The Dallas Parochial League (DPL) offers Girls and Boys 5th Grade, 6th Grade D1 and D2, 7th Grade D1 and D2, 8th Grade D1, D2 and D3 divisions.
During the 2007-08 DPL Basketball Season, MIS fielded a total of 6 girls and 9 boys basketball teams 8 of the 15 teams advanced to the playoffs, with 3 going into the 2nd round before losing.
Girls Team Results:

5th Grade Girls Blue team went 5-3, advancing into the 2nd round of the playoffs before being beaten by Prince of Peace, the eventual Co-champions.

5th Grade Girls Red team went 4-4

6th Grade Girls D2 team went 9-0 during the season. The Team was upgraded to Division 1 for the playoffs, winning the play-in game and losing to the eventual Co-champions, St. Paul

7th Grade Girls D1 team went 3-9, advancing to the playoffs, losing in the 1st round

7th Grade Girls D2 team went 4-8

8th Grade Girls D2 team went 9-3, advancing to the playoffs, losing in the 1st round
Boys Team Results:

5th Grade Boys Blue team went 6-2, advancing into the playoffs losing in the 1st round.

6th Grade Boys D1 team went 2-8

6th Grade Boys D2 team went 1-9

7th Grade Boys D1 team went 8-3 in Division, 9-3 Overall, advancing to the playoffs, losing in the 1st round

7th Grade Boys D2 team went 8-3 in Division, 9-3 Overall, advancing to the playoffs, earning a bye in the 1st round and losing in the 2nd round

8th Grade Boys D1 team went 6-7, advancing into the 2nd round of the playoffs before being beaten by St. Patrick, the eventual Champions.

8th Grade Boys D2 team went 2-8 in Division, 2-10 Overall
