MIS Athletics - Swimming

                   

The Dallas Parochial League (DPL) offers Fall and Spring Swim Meets. There are separate boys and girls events in two divisions, 5th/6th grade Junior Varsity and 7th/8th grade Varsity. Year long swimmers, Summer swimmers and Novices all compete in the same events.

Mary Immaculate School competed in the DPL Fall Swim meet held October 15, 2008 at Loos Natatorium. We were represented by two 5th grade and three 6th grade JV girls, two 5th grade and one 6th grade JV boys, and one 8th grade Varsity boy.

The MIS Girls Junior Varsity Team came in 1st place. The MIS Boys Junior Varsity Team came in 9th place. The combined JV team was 2nd.

The Spring DPL Swim Meet should be scheduled for mid-February, 2009, so stay tuned!
