Why an Auction?
A minimum of $90,000 of each year's auction goes directly to the school's operating budget to bridge the tuition gap. Our minimum goal for this year's event is $175,000 in generated revenue.
Auction revenue is also used to fund smaller items that are contributed to areas in need at the school such as new tile in the kindergarten wing, bathroom renovations, and gym & playground improvements. These addtional improvements are decided upon and organized in the spring of each year by volunteers of the "Wish List" Committee. In addition to being profitable for our school, the auction also gives parents an opportunity to socialize with each other outside the school setting and build fantastic friendships that grow throughout their years at MIS.

Attendance is a key element to hosting a successful event. The auction gives us an opportunity to invite our friends and family who are not members of the MIS community to come experience why we love the school so much. They can bid on great packages, gifts and play casino games as well. Isn't it great that we can provide a fun opportunity for others to contribute to MIS?
