MIS BAND

Mary Immaculate School uses the Music Learning Band Program. This program teaches the fundamentals of music and band to private, parochial, and charter school students in over thirty Dallas/Ft. Worth Metro Area schools, including MIS. Students of all skill levels are welcome to join the Music Learning program once he or she reaches the fourth grade. The students have the option to choose any traditional band instrument they like (flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, electric bass, and percussion).

Classes begin after Labor Day with weekday classes held in the music room at MIS. Saturday enrichment classes or concerts are held twice a month in both Dallas and Ft. Worth.

Each school has their own Beginner and Intermediate/Advanced Bands and all students from the area schools play together on Saturdays and for special events including the Richardson Christmas & Holiday Parade, Area Christmas & Holiday Concert, Regional Spring Tour, Spring Finale Concert & Recording Session, and more!
