In 1982, MIS created the Vision Annual Giving Campaign to help solve one of the key challenges in Catholic education today: To keep tuition rates affordable for all families who desire a Catholic education for their children, and to ensure the future of Mary Immaculate School.  The Vision Annual Giving Campaign launches every fall to support three specific goals:

1.To bridge the gap between tuition and what it actually costs to educate a child today at MIS. Currently, tuition payments at MIS cover just 64 percent of the total cost to educate one child. The Vision Annual Giving Campaign is a tax-deductible way for supporters to help address the shortfall and keep tuition affordable. All current MIS families are expected to annually contribute to the Vision campaign.

2.To fund special programs at MIS such as computer technology, art appreciation, speech/drama, foreign language and athletics, and to help MIS offer teaching salaries that are competitive with surrounding school districts.

3.To build a $1,000,000 endowment to ensure quality, Catholic education for years to come. At least 10 percent of our annual budget should come from the Vision endowment fund. Today, less than two percent of the school’s budget is funded by the endowment.

It takes commitment from the entire MIS community to help make the vision for Mary Immaculate School come true. The campaign seeks support from alumni, alumni parents, parishioners, current MIS families and business associates.

God has been generous to each of us. Please share your blessings by giving generously to the Vision Annual Giving Campaign.
