VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Community members (including alumni family members, parishioners, and grandparents) are invited to participate as school greeters, coaches and event volunteers. Note that all volunteers who will have any contact with MIS students or other children on the MIS campus must complete the Safe Environment Program training and certification every year. For more information, visit the Safe Environment Program page.
Coaching
Please click here for more information on becoming a coach at MIS.
Greeters
Greeters serve as the warm and welcoming face of MIS and as stewards for safety. Many of our Greeters are current MIS parents, grandparents and retired community members. Please consider sharing a couple of hours of your time for the safety of our children. We currently have the following openings available: Mondays from 7:30 – 9:30 a.m., Wednesdays from 9:30 – 11:30 and from 11:30 – 1:30, and Fridays from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. Please contact Ann Hunt at afhunt@verizon.net for more information.
Event Volunteers
Many community events, such as the Parish Fall Festival and the annual MIS Heart of Gold Auction, require hours of planning during the school year, and we always have room for more volunteers! Contact the Office of Advancement at 972-243-7105 x151 and we will connect you with the chairperson for these events.
