Annual Giving Campaign

The difference between tuition and the actual cost to educate each child is $1,750 for the 2019-20 year. At 430+ students this year, we need to generate $750,000+ to balance the budget. Every dollar donated keeps tuition affordable and helps us generate more in grants from foundations. That’s because many foundations look for family / staff participation in fundraising efforts. Our 2019-20 goal is $125,000.

In honor of our 60th Jubilee, we have several opportunities to support the Annual Giving Campaign* - Mary’s Circle which begins at $10 per month and includes free gifts, Mary’s Walk (bricks), or a flat donation. Every giving opportunity on this page funds the Annual Giving Campaign, which kicks-off Sept. 19 with the “Competition Between the Grades!” Students may wear their Jubilee T-shirts that day with either jeans or uniform bottoms.

Mary’s circle

mary’s walk - customized bricks

Families are invited to walk with Mary as they enter the school. Customized bricks along Mary’s Walk can be used to remind us of founding families, alumni, sacraments, and celebrations. You can purchase a set - one for each child or one for each generation of a family. Each brick is limited to 15 characters per line (3 line maximum) and costs $100. Click the header to purchase your brick along Mary’s Walk.

Matching Gifts

Double or triple your gift! Many corporations match gifts for employees; some will even match gifts made by retirees or spouses! Matching gifts may be applied toward Mary’s Circle membership too. Here’s all you have to do:

  • Request a matching gift form from your employer.

  • Complete and send to MIS’ Development Director.

  • We’ll take it from there!

How are Annual campaign gifts Applied?

  • Tuition Gap. Ninety percent of each contribution bridges the gap between tuition and the actual cost to educate each child.

  • Jubilee. We want to celebrate our 60th Jubilee in style, so five percent of each gift (the 2019-20 school year only) will be applied toward jubilee activities.

  • Endowment. Five percent of your gift will feed into our $1 million endowment fund to ensure we can provide Catholic education for generations to come.

  • Home Improvements. If we exceed our goal, extra dollars will be applied toward "home improvements." After all, our building is sixty years old! We need energy efficient windows, new ceiling tiles, bathroom partitions and more. These kinds of repairs aren't a part of annual maintenance.

*We ask that all online donations be made through this page instead of North Texas Giving Day’s platform.

^If you wish to remain anonymous, denote that in the “Additional Comments” at the bottom of the donation page and we’ll list you as a “Friend of MIS.”
