north texas giving day

NTG is an “online festival of giving” that benefits hundreds of North Texas non-profits, including MIS. Gifts received through NTG are applied toward our Annual Giving Campaign.

This year, we held our first “Competition Between the Grades” with the grade that brought in the most money winning a bonus dress down day and pizza party. Congratulations to sixth grade for winning in 2018! Second and Third place winners (4th and 8th grade respectively) won bonusdress down days.

Matching Gifts

Many corporations will match your gifts "dollar for dollar."  Imagine turning your $250 gift into $500!  Contact the Development Director at 972-243-7105 ext. 151 if your company offers matching gifts.

Annual Giving Campaign

There is a $3,000 gap between tuition and the actual cost to educate each MIS student. Your gift to our Annual Giving Campaign helps us keep tuition affordable.

When you give, others contribute too. High rates of participation by families, teachers and staff encourage foundations to support MIS.

Pledge Card

MIS staff and families are asked to commit support each year by completing a pledge card.  Our goal is 100 percent participation and $100,000. Truly, gifts of any amount help!

How are gifts Applied?

  • Tuition Gap. Ninety percent of your tax-deductible contribution to our Annual Giving Campaign bridges the $3,000 gap between tuition and the actual cost to educate each child.

  • Endowment. Ten percent of your gift will feed into our $1 million endowment fund.

  • Home Improvements. If we exceed our goal, extra dollars will be applied toward "home improvements." After all, our school building is sixty years old! We need energy efficient windows, new ceiling tiles, bathroom partitions and more. These kinds of repairs aren't a part of annual maintenance. These are part of our eight-phase plan (click here for more). Phase I (Jr. High Wing) took place in Summer 2017.

We invite you to express your faith and belief in Catholic education with a gift to the Annual Giving Program. Together we can continue the tradition of generosity and quality education at Mary Immaculate School.
