We are thrilled to welcome Fr. Giuseppe Spoto as our new Associate Pastor! Please be sure to welcome him when you see him. And, if you know any Italian, we know he'll appreciate hearing a welcome in his native tongue! 

Back to school prep day: Aug. 1 (9 am - noon)

Get your 2018-19 T-shirt,  lunch information and athletic details at this year's Back to School Prep Day in the parish hall and cafeteria. We look forward to seeing everyone there! Click the header for details. 

New Student Orientation: Aug. 13

New student orientation is held for kindergarten students from 11 am - noon and for all other students from 11:30 - noon. 

athletic physicals required for sports: aug. 15

Incoming 5th - 8th grade students who want to play sports must turn in proof of a physical before Aug. 15 (first day of school) or their first summer practice. Care Now offers $20 walk-in physicals. For information, contact Sandra at shughes@mischool.org. You may drop the paperwork at the Aug. 1 Back to School prep too! 

principal tours: aug. 21

Principal Linda Coffin will offer "Tuesdays at Ten" tours for families considering enrolling at MIS. Principal tours will begin on Aug. 21. Prospective families will experience life as a MIS student by visiting classes and observing teachers and students at work. For information, contact Patti at pstenson@mischool.org. 

Anyone up for some Hoops? 

Mike Kolassa is teaching basketball skills Mondays and Wednesdays from 7-9 pm July 16 through Aug. 15. All MIS students grades 5-8 are welcome to participate. Donations will be accepted to help pay for AC. For information, contact Michele at mjones@mischool.org. 

North Texas Giving Day - Volunteers Needed! 

In about 70 days, DFW's largest fundraising event of the year will be held raising millions of dollars for Texas non-profits. MIS usually raises tens of thousands. Can you help us plan this fun event? Or just promote on social media? Contact Kim at kspeirs@mischool.org to learn how you can help. 

New Uniform Information

Click the header for pricing and other information about our new uniforms with Risse Brothers. MIS will allow Parker uniforms during the 2018-19 year but only Risse Brothers uniforms will be permitted in the 2019-20 school year. If you ordered school uniforms, we've been told they should arrive soon. Check the PTC Facebook page for updates.

EDP registration & help needed

If your family needs after school care (Extended Day Program, EDP), don't forget to register before Aug. 15! We'll be at Back to School Prep Day for easy registering. Also, if you enjoy working with kids, helping MIS, and making money, our Extended Day Program could use your help! Contact Cecilia at cburgin@mischool.org for details.  

Bishop Lynch Bus Service from MIS

Beginning this fall, Bishop Lynch High School will provide bus transportation from the MIS parking lot. Pick up will be at 7 am and  return will be 5 pm. Click the header to bring you to the Bishop Lynch Transportation page - look to the right "bus route" column for details.

JPII Summer Programs

John Paul II High School is hosting several summer sports camps for students aged 5-14 including basketball, drill team, lacrosse, strength training, and track / field. Click the heading for details.  

Bishop Lynch Summer Camps

Bishop Lynch is offering 30+ summer camps for students K-8 in athletics, academics and art. Lunch is included for all campers and you can pair camps together to fill your day the Friar way! Click the header for details.   

CISTERCIAN SUMMER PROGRAMS

Cistercian’s Summer Programs offer a host of courses: remedial classes in math, English, and Latin, enrichment courses, computer and various forms of engineering, as well as half-day sports and a full day camp.  Courses are for boys entering grades 3-12. Please click on the heading for additional information.
