Mrs. Hollingsworth has taught PreK for over 20 years. She’s also taught at St. Thomas Aquinas School.

Mrs. Houlihan is a Dallas native. She has been married for 10 years and they have 2 boys. In their free time, they like to travel all over Texas.

Mrs. Sabo holds a BA and an MA from the University of St. Elizabeth and has experience teaching several grade levels. She has two students enrolled at MIS.

Mrs. Marek is originally from New England and graduated from the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and Tufts University with concentrations in Printmaking and Museum Education. All four of her children are enrolled at MIS and she believes the school culture here is something truly special.

Rose Harrelson, Kindergarten Department Head

Mrs. Harrelson first came to MIS as a kindergartner - and that’s what she’s been teaching since 2001! All of her children are MIS graduates. She is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University.

Mrs. Schwalm is a native Texan as well as a graduate from the University of Dallas with a B.A. in English and elementary education.

Carmen Gutierrez, Spanish 6-8

A graduate from Tec de Monterrey, Señora Gutierrez pursued her graduate degrees at Universidad Politecnica de Valencia. Since graduation she has been teaching different grade levels. Two of her children graduated from MIS.

Mrs. Bridgeman has been a certified teacher for over 10 years and holds a Musical Theatre degree from OCU and an Elementary Education degree from LeTourneau University, certified in Elementary, ESL, and Special Education.
