Tuition and Financial Aid
mary immaculate parishioner tuition rate
Since MIS is a ministry of Mary Immaculate Parish, reduced tuition is offered to Catholic families (at least one parent Catholic with student who is baptized Catholic) who register with the parish and who support Mary Immaculate Parish at a minimum of $800 during each calendar year.
New Students: Families new to Mary Immaculate School can make the $800 donation to the church before or at the time enrollment is accepted to be eligible for supportive tuition status.
Current Students: Each year, current school families must have contributed a minimum of $800 to Mary Immaculate Parish by December 15 to receive supportive family rates for the next school year. Enrolled school families that do not complete the donation of $800 by that time will be assessed the non-supportive rate for tuition.
Although tuition at Mary Immaculate School continues to be an excellent value as compared to the tuition in nearby private schools, we realize that it puts a serious strain on some budgets. Mary Immaculate strives to provide an opportunity for students to attend the school when they do not have the funds to cover tuition. Accordingly, there are several forms of tuition assistance than can be applied for at the time of enrollment.
The main form of tuition assistance through Mary Immaculate Parish is the Supportive Tuition Rate (described above) which includes:
a reduced tuition rate for multiple students enrolled at MIS for eligible parishioner families.
and a supportive tuition rate for eligible parishioner families.
For all other forms of tuition assistance, a student/family must:
meet the entrance requirements and be accepted for admission at Mary Immaculate Catholic School;
be current with all financial obligations due to any Catholic school within the diocese;
begin the application process with a request through the Mary Immaculate School office; and
reapply each school year that assistance is needed.
To demonstrate financial need you must complete an online application through FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment, submitting W-2 forms and a current professionally prepared federal income tax statement. Additionally, Mary Immaculate may require the family provide to the school an IRS transcript.
